Redesigned proposals for improvements to Ealing Broadway station have been revealed by Crossrail. Crossrail and Ealing Council have worked closely to re-design station improvements which includes a substantially larger canopy to cover entire forecourt, increasing the building’s prominence in the town centre as well as improving the station entrance and enhancements to make it easier to get around the station.

The Ealing Broadway Centre attracts about 15 million visitors a year; serving as a hub within the local community. Current tenants including include Primark, Marks and Spencer, Wagamama and Tesco. British Land have stated their intention to grow and develop the centre.

Ealing Filmworks aim to deliver an exciting and comprehensive leisure quarter for Ealing. There will be a new eight-screen Picturehouse cinema together with a mix of other leisure uses all of which will establish the area as a cultural hub. This will attract visitors from Ealing and across west London and bring greater trade and footfall to the town centre.
