A pub has been on this site since at least 1832, the current one, known as the Coach and Horses until 2004, is from the 1960s with office accommodation above. This gastro pub has table service for its French cuisine and daily specials is dominated by the horseshoe bar whilst the covered heated beer garden is often busier than inside. Free wifi, daily newspapers, sport on TV, monthly food and wine tasting evenings and recently an occasional comedy night are part of the offering.
