BID Easter Events receive egg-cellent feedback!

03 April 2018

Not even the rain put a dampener on the BID pop-up Easter Park over the bank holiday weekend!

With over 120 visitors to our pop-up park each day over the long Easter weekend the BID brightened up an otherwise rainy few days.

Over the course of the weekend the BID met families from across Ealing and other West London boroughs who had heard about the event online, from flyers at their children’s schools or from word of mouth, bringing footfall to the area and creating a feel-good atmosphere in West Ealing’s Town Centre.

Early morning visitors to Melbourne Avenue couldn’t believe their eyes on Good Friday when they discovered the beautifully decorated marquee with bunnies, chocolate eggs, flowers, balloons and fun Easter-themed crafts being set-up. Visitors to the pop-up park remarked on what a fantastic event it was with many pleasantly surprised by what West Ealing had to offer.

Many visitors took the opportunity to pose for Easter photos on our special In West Ealing grass-covered sofa and tweeted their pics online with the hashtag #EasterInWestEaling. One lucky little girl was the winner of a huge chocolate egg, kindly donated by Specsavers!
