Businesses Urged to Renew Massage and Special Treatment Licences in Ealing Borough: 31 March Deadline
04 March 2025
Businesses across the Ealing borough offering massage and special treatments are reminded to renew their licences before the 31 March 2025 deadline. Authorities have already contacted all licensed premises with renewal instructions, but businesses are urged to act now to avoid last-minute delays. Late applications may not be processed in time, meaning businesses could be unable to trade from 1 April 2025.
Licensable treatments include, but are not limited to:
- Massage treatments (including aromatherapy and reflexology)
- Beauty treatments (manicures, pedicures, facials, nail extensions)
- Tattooing, microblading, and semi-permanent makeup
- Ear and body piercing
- Sunbeds, laser, and IPL treatments
- Saunas and steam treatments
If your business has not yet received renewal instructions, please check the Licensing Public Access Module or the Massage and Special Treatment Licence webpage. The council also encourages local business owners and community members to remind eligible premises to ensure their licences are renewed on time.
