High streets are at the heart of our communities
Welcome to the August newsletter for businesses in Ealing.
We want local employers to flourish in thriving neighbourhoods. This summer, a programme of exciting events funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Communities and Place Fund are being delivered by over a dozen local organisations and community groups.
These events are a wonderful opportunity to bring new family fun activities to 13 of the borough’s high streets and town centres. They are bringing communities together and in turn helping support some of the borough’s retail hotspots.
Our high streets and town centres, and the businesses within them, are the cornerstones of our seven towns. From advertising your job vacancies to delivering tailored training programmes to upskill your staff, Ealing Council is helping businesses deliver the best possible services. We will continue to do everything we can to support you to continue playing this vital role in our residents’ lives.

Look out for poor pest control services
Issues found during inspections
Local businesses are being urged to make sure they aren’t stung by poor pest control services that land them in danger of being closed down. Ealing Council has uncovered a number of pest-related issues during regular inspections in venues where businesses had already paid for checks to be carried out by pest control companies.
