New CPZ south of Uxbridge Road

11 December 2017

We want your feedback on the new CPZ and the impact on your business

Monday 11th December was the first day of the new CPZ in West Ealing.  The CPZ has been implemented following a consultation that resulted in 693 responses from local residents and businesses in the core area.  Whilst those consulted in the outer areas were less keen to see the CPZ introduced (44% agreed with the proposal) some 64% of people in the core area agreed and the CPZ is now in force.

There are changes of use to some bays including the provision of all day RinGo parking. There are still ‘Stop and Shop’ bays which allow for 30 minutes free parking close to the Broadway.  In residential streets restrictions are in place between 9-10am and 3-4pm.  Residential permits are available to buy as are Business Permits which cost £800 per year.

You can see detailed results of the consultation online as well as the map of the CPZ area and the original consultation document which includes information on how to purchase permits and the costs.

In West Ealing has met with Ealing Council to discuss the impact of the CPZ are we are keen to hear from you regarding your views on the newly implemented CPZ.  We have created a brief survey to gather your views which we will share with the council.  We are keen to hear if and how it may impact your business, both positively and negatively.  You can take part in the survey online at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/7GDNJVL
